Went last night before the game. Sat at the bar. Was evidently there just in time fr the end of happy hour. The staff was very eager to make sure we knew about happy hour. Pretty thankful they did. We ordered the queso, 3 happy hour pork tacos, and street corn. The food came out very fast and very tasty. I had 2 drafts. Do wish they had a bit of a wider selection. The wife had margaritas. She says they were good. I don't really like them. The only down thing that happened was st the end. We were sitting there as my wife was finishing up the last of her margarita and we each had water. I didn't even notice when it happened, but the bartender decided we were done with our waters and took them. I was really surprised it was gone when I reached for it. The bartender decided was a bit sticky but looked cool and the bathroom was clean. Pretty nice place.
Nada is good. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and fresh-- which translates to a pricier bill. But it's worth it, in my opinion. I have been to Nada at least 5-10 times, and the food and service are consistently on point. Get the kreeper salsa if you like spice. I am obsessed. If they sold it by the gallon, I'd be their #1 customer. The braised chicken enchiladas go hard, too. On a sunny day, opt for the patio. So cute- you forget you're smack in the middle of downtown Columbus!
Was here with my daughter and granddaughter. First time for me . The inside decor was really different and very cool . We ate outside on the patio . We were the only one out there as they were having a slow night . I have to say it's alittle pricey. A carafe of margaritas was sixty dollars . They were good but again over priced . This is a upscale American Mexican restaurant. The chips were good but the queso cheese did not have much flavor at all . We split the El jefe fajitas which was very good. Also 49.00 . Our waiter Alex was very nice and checked on us often . It's worth stopping in for a drink just to see the decor .
I am a California native and lived in Arizona for 16 years. I have become skeptical of Midwest Mexican food restaurants, but this place had great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. Wow, I am so glad I did. This was the best Mexican food I've had since moving from Arizona last year, and the service from Andrew was incredible. My teenage son and I loved the chips and salsas, and it was very evident that everything was made fresh in house. I had a refreshing margarita. My son ordered the quesadilla and loved it. I asked Andrew for a taco recommendation, and he said to get the pork al pastor. He did not steer me wrong. Those tacos were delicious, full of flavor and texture. I wish I could give Nada more than five stars. Everything about our meal there was awesome. I was happy to recommend it to other friends during the rest of my conference.
My girl and I were in Cincy for the weekend and bouncing around downtown having a few drinks and bites to eat. We stopped at Nada because we have one in Columbus and had just walked a few blocks in 90 degree heat. We sat at the bar and had a Tito's and grapefruit juice and I noticed a clear green Leblon bottle. I asked the bartender what it was and what can she make with it. Turns out this is a rum that Brazilians use to make Caipirinha, sort of a mojito without all the sugar because they use Agave syrup. We ordered one each and grilled Mahi Baja tacos. WOW! The tacos were amazing with the black beans and rice but the Caipirinha was unreal! Perfect summertime drink. The two just paired perfectly. I loved how knowledgeable our bartender was and so glad she introduced us to this cocktail. Great time with of course great company!
